I was unable to watch the game so take this with a grain of salt. Looking at the box scores, a combined 47 minutes for 7 points, including 1/9 on threes is extremely disappointing. It seems like Allen hit a wall lately. What’s the thinking on his returning for another year? I think he needs to because I’m not sure of his true position at the NBA level.

6 players scored a combined 10 points. We had virtually no bench scoring. Jemison scored most of his points in the first half. They held us to 28 points in the second half. Clearly Dusty May made the second half adjustments and slowed things down and we ended up playing the way UM wanted us to play. We need better play going forward from our wings and our forwards. Have we had really great forward play after Brandon Miller left? Consistent good play.

I think Allen will be back. Should be back. You never know what kind of advice these kids are getting though. Agent will probably shop him. I think his quote after the game was he had to talk to his agent.

Mallette seems like a good kid and by all accounts was a wonderful teammate and great ambassador for the university. But he sucks. Was supposed to be a three point sniper and most nights he was just basically out there

Allen definitely should not go pro. Whether he’s back in Tuscaloosa is anybody’s guess.

We need a big Euro professional like all the good teams have. Someone that can at least get off the ground, and doesnt have terrible hands.

Dont give me that bullshite. Mallette won us multiple games through his hustle and grit making critical plays saving us possessions. Dude played his arse off for this team. We dont beat Arky without his two big 3s either.

Allen isnt ready for the pros. Hes not elite at one thing.

He reminds me the most of Herb, but Herb was an elite all nba defensive player out of the gate.

Allen has more offensive tools, but hes not good enough there.

His strength is rebounding. If he works on being more capable offensively, hes good enough defensively to go next season, but if he can work on both he could be a top 10 pick.

a month ago i wouldve said no way amari comes back, but he really slid over the past few weeks so in a draft as deep as this one i think theres a good chance, unless he goes nuts in the combine.

Allen was the most emotional after the game. Kid loves Bama. Said he has no interest in going anywhere else. In this world of transfers and NiL, Amari is a guy you know actually loves this place.

I’ll be happy for him if he gets a good 1st round promise. But I would love to see him back next year playing his natural position. Year 2 Amari could look a lot like Year 1 Brandon Miller.

GTFO with that. Nobody brought more energy, scrap and hustle than 95. That presence will absolutely be missed.

Mallette may not have had the offensive talent that others had but he gave the effort that isn’t seen very often.

Anybody that says negative things about Allen and Mallette can please go f......

Only thing about Allen is he hit the "freshman wall" and Mallette is Mr. Hard Hat.

Mallette was the kind of guy that Wimp Sanderson LOVED. Tough, played hard, good defense and always, always hustled. I really doubt he's good enough to make it in the NBA but would love to see him as a GA at Bama and maybe an assistant after a year or two. Love his attitude.

Been saying this forever. Get Nate a plane ticket to Greece or Lithuania.
