I’m going to have to see Trey and ask him how he pulled this off.

Expect NCAA to get SCOTUS involved.
Not sure they would take on the case… but they will appeal.

If basically you can get a local judge to say whatever you want you could in theory be eligible forever.

Enjoy Chambliss if he’s back but this is bad precedent and I think even you guys know it deep down

The NCAA is gonna try to put you on probation. Key word, try. Congrats. Good luck to Mayor Pete and Ole Miss.

Wouldn’t it go to a lesser court first?

Sure but you can't convince me he doesn't have the same argument/better argument for another year than Pavia and the 9 year guys. Create rules and stick to them. Everything should be by definition. As long as others get special rulings, I don't care about the precedent.

The original Ole Miss judge made the ruling and the appeal was denied by the Supreme Court where 6 of the 7 justices went to Ole Miss. God Bless the South.

Boo fricking hoo. frick playing by the rules and doing things “the right way”. The programs that have been on top the last 50+ years didn’t play by the rules and the NCAA by and large turned a blind eye to them. Their hypocritical asses finally are getting called on it and they can no longer pick and choose which schools they want to enforce their rules on.

They'll appeal. Don't worry Webels. Would love to see a court decision outside of the Great State of Mississippi.

Time to admit that there are no rules now. Why even go to the NFL when you can play forever in college?

I didn't. Mississippi has a very long history of corruption.

to where? The USSC? Guarantee they don’t take that case

And if they did, it would come next year and if they lost that they truly would be powerless then.
