They are really missing out on some fun/historical SEC hoops. Wade did have them there in the very early stages of this, but the AD thought it was good idea to get rid of him. I really can't believe they are, what looks like, going to hold onto McMahon for another season.

Yet they still have a better overall record than LSU, a better conference record than LSU, and hold the lead against LSU in the head to head. It is March 23rd and LSU has not won a 3 game series this month.

Will LSU miss out on the CFP, NCAA basketball tournament, and NCAA baseball tournament? It looks very possible.

Unfortunately, LSU apparently has stopped caring about men's hoops. Shame, because they were one of the elite programs throughout the 80s, made multiple Final Fours, and Will Wade basically revived the program's aura from that time.

How can we be missing out when the rant talks about LSU in perpetuity?

The big picture is that Verge Ausberry is a worse AD than the guy you just fired.

LSU has gone all in on Lane Kiffin. If it doesn’t work it will cripple their athletic department for a decade.

If you truly looked at the big picture, you would never open your mouth when it comes to Alabama vs. LSU athletics.

He’s been on the job for how many months, and you’re asking us to look at the big picture…….

Verge has been LSU's AD for less than 6 months.

Calm down.

Even when you account for the 18 football natties, LSU athletics still has more national titles than Bama athletics, very well-rounded and a natty for every sport except men's basketball IIRC

Verge has been at LSU for over 30 years, except for his 30 day suspension in 2021 for sexual misconduct. He has been at LSU since his playing days. He was deputy athletic director starting in 2019. If anyone knows how to sabotage LSU it is Verge. He should have been released in 2021, the school should have cleaned house in the athletic department. We have seen over and over that loyalty hires almost never work out.

Way way back in the day, like way back, didn't they have some good teams?

LSU has had SEVERAL national championships in his time there, too. So the school should have cleaned house in 2021 instead of getting multiple national championships across multiple sports? GENIUS!

Losing to McNeese, Louisiana, Northwestern, and losing series to Sacramento State and Vandy are "the big picture"?
