I’ll admit it, Pope is not to get it done at UK.

I’m extremely happy Cal is gone, but let’s be honest — Pope is who he is. He’s a meh coach who’s stubborn to a fault. He’ll get next year, but I’m already predicting Kentucky will be looking for a new coach after that season.

At least it won’t be Barnhart making the hire.

The problem is a program, especially these days, is only as good as your coach. Kentucky needs to spend big on the next hire.

I would be sick to my stomach watching Cal have a legit final four contender while Mark Pope is putting this lifeless BS on the floor if I was a UK fan

You have to give him credit for keeping this game close so KY has a chance to win.

frick Mitch and his JMI deal. If Hill or that lackey wife of the JMI exec gets the AD job, then we will be stuck in mediocrity for basketball forever.

What Cal is doing isn’t mutually exclusive with what Pope is doing. Unless you want some clickbait media.

Cal wasn’t producing here either anymore. But Pope likely isn’t the answer and a new hire will need to be made after next season.

LOL, just because Cal had an easy road in the SEC and now the NCAAs does not change who he is. Also, a team
Like High Point is a bugaboo for a Cal coached team in the tournament.

If you consider Cals last few years at Kentucky as not producing then you must have no words for what Pope is doing

This is the reason why he won’t last in Lexington.

Kentucky needs to find our Dusty May.

Kentucky fans quitting on their coach at halftime of the first Friday in the tournament

Cal having Arkansas rolling makes it that much funnier

Sendek’s offense looks better than ours. We dribble too much, can’t shoot and make too many turnovers. Pope needs to have this team attack and not settle. Sendek is out coaching Pope and baiting us into settling.

When Pope went to the Sweet 16 last season (his 1st year) it was the first time Kentucky had made it out of the first weekend since before COVID. Half a decade.

Y’all want to complain when coaches don’t perform at Kentucky (it was was ALWAYS Cal does less with more) but then out of the other side of the mouth try to scold us for having the expectations a Blue Blood should have.

Since you’ve been obsessing over Alabama, Alabama has made a final four and the elite eight last year while Kentucky is begging for a new coach.

My bad. I didn’t realize they hang sweet 16 banners in Lexington nowadays.

Needs to be investigated. If he didn't get a kick back for that deal it would solidify him as the worse AD ever by a mile.

You’re starting threads at halftime lobbying for a coaching change after trailing Santa Clara.

I can assure you you’re more riled than I am.
