Looks like Kentucky is not the only team to spend money for basketball.

Cal canceled the series with the Hoosiers and we would have absolutely dominated them during the time before the rivalry was renewed this year.

Lot of people got pissed over this including myself. There are fans that would put beating IU at 1a behind a championship.

Surprised NC isnt much higher than that. Golden apparently is handling NIL pretty good considering we are below all those teams listed.

Woodson (their last coach) was one of the 3 highest paid coaches in the conference. So that accounts for 4.2 million plus a 6.5 million dollar buyout

It also says in the fine print Florida data was not collected.

This doesn’t include NIL so it’s pretty meaningless. Also includes things like payouts to former coaches (Indiana).

We paid $20 million for this team?

Cam was the best deal ever made in sports history.

This is spending (not NIL) for the 2024-25 season. When Auburn was #1 overall and got to the Final Four.

This is a cope (with Pope) response thread because UK spent $22 million NIL for their basketball team this year.

Then that was money well spent.
