...in the country.
Once again, coaches ridiculous salaries and ridiculous buyouts never have and never will come from school funds or budgets. All are private donations.

Then the hospital stuff just happened for love of the game?

Only a select few, high-revenue Division I public university athletic departments are self-sustaining and receive no state funding or institutional subsidies. LSU is one of about 7 such programs in the country. Texas and OU as well.

The hospital scandal was funds from Our Lady of the Lake Foudation to player's families by a private "booster." No LSU funds, budgets or school administration personnel were involved. No different than Dodge Chargers and other play for pay schemes going on all over the country. And if you dont think this is true, you need to get your head out of the sand. The booster got caught on this one. Same with the Will Wade stuff. LSU just keeping up with the times. NIL has now made these incidents past history and irrelevant. Let's see who has the biggest NIL collectives now-private funds.

Can BlueTunaToger do a flowchart?
He laid it all out brilliantly with As the Plains Burns.
A flowchart just makes everything easier to follow.

Hate to hear that for the sick children needing Hospital care.

That would explain LSU football’s 7-6 record and LSU basketball’s 14-13 record.

This sad post reminds me of Woodward boasting about A&M's revenues after our 3rd appearance in the Texas Bowl.
Oof.
Oof.

Considering how much bama and OM fans talk about us it makes sense.

If they lived, they'd just grow up to be murdered by an Alabama basketball player, so oh well.

At least 2 of the alabana "fans" that have replied ITT have started threads about LSU today, so yes, you do care, bitch.
You probably care more about LSU than your own team.

You are in good company.
This is exactly what t.u. were telling themselves while losing to baylor and kansas state every year.

LSU’s 2025 financials showed they were $35,000,000 in the hole. They had 35,000,000 in assets, but $65,000,000 in liabilities.
