Wild how little the SEC has done outside of Kentucky

“How little”
Any recent history would include Florida as the superior program to Kentucky. But you all like to go back to the 1940s to claim championships and make them relevant today.
It’s a very UCF thing to do.

Do since 2004 next. I want to know how bad it really is.

All three major Florida schools think that sports started being played in 1990.

None of the championships we are discussing were made up. Only a Florida school would do that.

Is this going to be a NSFW thread?
Nevermind...didn't have my glasses on when I first read this. Carry On.

That's nearing 40 years ago. That's a whole lot of modern history at this point.

If I had to guess, South Carolina probably has like 12-14 since 1992.

I mean, yeah, technically.
But winning a national championship with a tournament of only 8 teams <<<<<<<<<<<<< winning a national championship with 68 teams. Not even close.
And 1990 was not yesterday, it's almost 40 years ago. How many people were alive for most of Kentucky's championships?

its not wild at all to lend more credence to recent history than say... 75-100 years ago.

If you go back 1 more tourney (2018), it changes a lot at the top:
1) Aub, Ala, Tenn -11
4) Arky - 10
5) Gata – 8
6) Kats – 6
7)UTx – 5
8) LSU 3
9) OM, OU, aTm – 2
12) Mizzou - 1
13 -16 – No change (0)

I've seen 3 in my lifetime and just missed the 4th (1978). I've also seen two Runner-Ups (1997, 2014), 9 Final Fours, 19 Elite Eights, and 25 Sweet 16s And I'm not that old.
Why are you pretending that Kentucky only won national championships or had any real basketball success before 1950?

Me too! Crazy.
And Florida has been the better team since 2000.
Color me shocked that you have no idea about trend analysis or that you just choose to put blinders on.
