Owens run game was VERY effective at Louisville. Their leading rusher averaged 8 ypc and the 2nd leading receiver averaged 7 ypc.

They were very effective when they upset Miami this past season.

Sounds like a good hire. I know the O line has been subpar but all around blocking (TEs, WRs, even RBs) has been inconsistent at best. Hopefully, this guy will get our TEs more consistent too.

UAB - 2012 - TE coach 2012 - team rushed for 1,323 yards - averaging 3.2 a carry. Tight Ends caught around 4% of passes - 323 yards on the season.
UAB - 2013 - OC and WR Coach - team rushed for 2,137 yards on the season. Caught 2,578. Tight ends caught around 14% of passes for 369 yards. Instrumental in the run game.
UAB - 2014 - TE Coach- team rushed for 2,545 yards. Caught 2,637. Tight ends caught around 14% of passes for 355 yards.
