Is Bama going through a similar phase w DeBoer like LSU did with Kelly?

Winning some games…but just not connecting with the fan base or the state of AL and doesn’t seem like a good cultural fit. Feels like both sides are trying to force it to make it work. Am I wrong?

LSU fans still talking football when it's basketball season.

Yes, this is a good comparison. There are a lot of fans who don’t want to admit it isn’t a good fit and will keep defending him for another year or so.

Brian Kelly beat Nick Saban and Alabama’s #1 and #3 picks in his very first try at LSU.

Kelly won a playoff game at LSU? Did he even get there?
Interesting, Louisiana education system strikes again.

Another glorious side effect of the Louisiana education system.

Exactly, and they wonder why they're the poorest state in our country. The true armpit of America.

Dude, just stop. Yes we lost to Vandy last year.
Bama has also blown out LsU by an average of 3 touchdowns over the last three games. Even with your heisman winner getting blown out in one of those games.
You’re like a liberal. Someone states a fact. And your turn around and just criticize the person talking, rather than addressing the fact.

Print the cups and extend DeBoer.

Probably because it's bad form to fire a coach before they have three or four seasons of data points. We gave both Shula and DuBose four seasons before we fired them.

I’m not saying we’re good, in fact we’ve been very average the last couple of years. Losses at the rose bowl, CFb losses, SECCG losses. Not good at all.
But make no mistake, talking shite about losing to a team that loses to Vandy is pure insanity.

DeBoer >>>> Kelly
Not even close. Dude had to follow the GOAT, a ton of great kids leaving, and still made the playoffs (and won) in his 2nd year.

That's a roundabout way of saying he took over a much better situation.
