Vanderbilt was scheduled to play Ole Miss in Oxford today. With the current post weather conditions the game was moved to Nashville. Vanderbilt will travel to Oxford later this season to complete the home and home schedule.

We could win. Will probably lose. Could win by 3, could lose by 30.

We likely will start slow, get down by 15 at the 10 minute mark. Make a small run to cut it to 10, then it blow out to 20 by half.

I just hope Otega knows the ball doesn't have to be taken out twice on the same possession.

Who knows with this team.

There may be 1000 people show up. It’ll have been snowing for a few hours by tip off.

Without the snow it might’ve been 5000.

God Bless the Ole Miss community and everyone else dealing with the winter storm!

From the Ole Miss official website:

quote:

OXFORD, Miss. – The Southeastern Conference and the Ole Miss men's basketball program announced adjustments to their schedule on Thursday, changing the location for their two games with Vanderbilt.

Originally set to be played in the SJB Pavilion, the game on Saturday, January 31 will now be played in Nashville, Tennessee and tipoff at 5 p.m. on the SEC Network. The second matchup between Ole Miss and Vanderbilt will take place on Tuesday, March 3 or Wednesday, March 4 and will now be played in Oxford, Mississippi. TV broadcast details, date, and time for the March matchup in Oxford will be determined at a later date.

All tickets purchased for the Saturday, January 31 game originally scheduled to be played in Oxford will be honored at the rescheduled home game versus Vanderbilt on March 4.

The change comes after Winter Storm Fern impacted the Ole Miss and Oxford, Mississippi community, causing damage and affecting the lives of all within it. Ole Miss recently announced the University will be closed through Sunday, February 8. Thousands in the area remain without power and water, as well as cellular and internet connectivity issues. Additionally, conditions remain hazardous with ice on roads and walkways, inoperable stop lights, downed trees and power lines, as well as falling ice as temperatures fluctuate.

New drinking game for Mizzou fans. Take a shot with every missed FT. Whoever sees the end of the game wins.
Doubt anyone does.

Five of seven games featuring unranked teams. How far the SEC has fallen this year in hoops. Only four teams are ranked.

If we can somehow find a way to pull a win out tonight we’re back into the SEC title race.

Gonna be a tough one.

I may just stay outside and watch the snow come down. It's a lot prettier than what will take place indoors
