You can’t tell me Austin is a popular place. Downtown is more dead than any other mid tier city I’ve been. You’re telling me 6th st beats north gate?
Austin as a city sucks so much for its size. Also $20 an hour parking is criminal.

As someone who lived in sf nyc Boston Seattle I agree. What’s crazy is people normally compare Austin to those above which is crazy. Austin is CS with a capital building

Have family in Georgetown, TX. They are longhorn fans, season ticket holders, etc... and they are constantly bitching about 6th street and the area around campus.

It’s a cool city, but imo not what it used to be. Looks more Nashville than anything. They went from weird to gay fast with all of the Cali stuff. Good food, but Koe Wetzel and those type of guys don’t play there like they used to.
