2008 Florida should be discussed if we're talking about 2019 LSU

Unlike 2019 LSU, Florida 2008 had a defense.
That defense stopped the most prolific offense of all-time (at the time -- only 2013 FSU and 2013 Baylor were better) in the 2008 Oklahoma Sooners.
That same 2008 Oklahoma Sooners scored more points per game than 2019 LSU, and Florida held them to 14 points...
That's dominating.
Oh, and Tebow.

I have never seen more fans broken by a team than 2019 LSU.

While head to head we could def go toe to toe with them because the talent on both teams was crazy..we had a very elite coaching staff, not sure how LSU fans fell about theirs. But they had more first round picks.
But we lost, they did not. So no argument who did better

Honestly, you guys should be in the consideration but when you lose to OM....well, you know the answer to all this. The team that hit the field though post OM, was reallllllly fricking good.

Concur, 2019 LSU needed maximum ref intervention to beat 2019 Florida

The team will never get the same recognition because it lost a game. BUT the team that came out after that loss is definitely one of the best I've ever seen. They absolutely dominated people. If a champion can be underrated, I would put them up there.

Everyone beneath the HC was exceptional while the HC was not. This is evidenced by the massive decline immediately following both acting coordinators leaving.

Bro that 08 roster for Ole miss was disgustingly talented. People love to shite on Longo for wasting that loaded Ole Miss offense with DK and AJ brown and a few other NFL players, but that 08 team had more NFL talent on both sides of the ball and lost 4 games.
Jevan Sneed
Brandon Bolden
Dexter McCluster
Mike Wallace
Michael Oher
Bradley Sowell
Peria Jerry
Greg Hardy
About 7-8 others

You act a lot like Columbo but just the really stupid part.

Penalties:
Florida: 5-39
LSU: 4-28
Clearly the penalty discrepancy had a massive impact on LSU cruising to a two-touchdown win.
