Ends his college ball on a 3 loss team with no conference championship to show for it, no natty and his last throw as a Hurricane being a game-killing interception with EVERYTHING on the line.

Do you feel sorry for him?...point and laugh?...feel its a fitting ending to his college career?...or don't care either way?

I was amazed with the coverage call on that play. The CB stayed in a zone trail and the safety ran right to where the play was going. Could not have been a more perfect call to bait a back shoulder throw.

That alien cost us a natty in 2023. Get fricked.

As he said when Ole Miss beat us “poetic justice”.

I have no I'll feelings towards Beck. Happier with Gunner, but Beck sat, waited his turn, and played pretty well for the dawgs.

I wanted Beck to have a good year with them and he did. I supported Miami in every game this season, until last night.

I just couldn't bring myself to cheer for Miami to w8n the natty. Some of that was not wanting to see Beck win, but mostly the U is not easy to cheer for.

I chuckled when he threw the interception

What I really kept thinking was that Miami, for all $6M they paid Beck, ended up being a slightly inferior version of our 2021 team. A good, not great QB elevated by a strong OL, strong run game, and an extremely nasty Defense.

Kirby built it better & for probably 1/3rd of the cost

I have no ill will toward Beck at all. He waited his turn and played to his ability.

His last year at Georgia had to have been frustrating to him, having a receiving corp that could not catch a cold.
How many yards and points were left on the field?

Defense was in cover 2. Beck made a bad throw and read. NFL scouts will be in Miami for their Pro day but they won’t be there for Beck

Pretty indifferent tbh.

I just wonder if the Miami fanbase is blaming the wide receiver or the offensive line.

if your definition of "slight" also applies to, like the distance from here to the moon, then sure.

2021 UGA would beat the everloving shite out of this year's miami team. Or any 2025 CFB team for that matter. It was, IMO, the best team we've ever fielded and is VASTLY superior to a 3 loss ACC team that didn't even finish in the top 2 of their shitty conference.

This pretty much sums it up for me, too.

Honest questino, not being facetious. Why would anyone pull for beck any differently than they pulled for jermaine burton? Both guys were not lockerroom guys that left under not great circumstances. I don't know a soul that has a nice thing to say about burton. Both guys won some big games and made some huge plays for us, then bolted.

I'm not sure why anyone would really pull hard for carson all things considered. Not to say they shoudl despite the guy, but anything more than just casual indifference seems odd to me.

I wasn't rooting against him, but I did smile when he threw that interception.

If they were in cover 2 the guy who picked it off would not be 40 yards down field.

I think a lot of people felt that way. Beck owns some of that… He doesn’t make the greatest impressions speaking and his body language doesn’t flatter his image to say the least. His entire public image rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

If they were in a traditional cover 2, that guy does not sink. That’s the thing. The CB redirects and settles in the zone. The CB trailed the receiver 40 yards down field. It was the perfect call against what Miami ran. If the CB plays a traditional cover 2 and the receiver gets his head around, its an easy catch away from the safety. Indiana was def reading Miami’s mail on that play.

Ok so I’m supposed to believe Pete the arm chair qb instead of Beck and every other analyst I’ve heard talk about that play? Lol get a life dude

I mean, if you don’t know what traditional cover 2 entails, it is kinda hard to have a conversation about this.
