Days off between last Saturday of Regular season and First round of playoffs - 19 or 20 days
Days off between First Round and Quarterfinals - 11 or 12 days
Days off between Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals - 7 or 8 days
Days between Semis and Championship - 10 or 11 days
shite makes no sense to me.

Seems like the hype around the national title game is nonexistent. That’ll change tomorrow but the NFL playoffs have all of the attention over the last week.
College football would benefit from playing their national title game on New Year’s Day before the NFL playoffs begin.

Championship game should have been last Thursday or Friday before NFL Divisional weekend.
Nobody gives a shite this late after watching 2 NFL playoff weekends since the semis

Some of that I think is because pretty much everyone outside of Coral Gables wants Indiana to win. There’s no drama between the two teams.

In 2019 LSU played the peach bowl SEMI against OU Dec 28th. NC was January 13th. Then they visited the White House and we all know what happed In 2020 after.

Mist likely has to to do with a few things
TV time for the best spots for marketplaces, availability, etc
But it is all about making as much money as possible..everyone knows that is why they keep exoanding the playoffs.
