LSU Fans: What finish in 2026 would make you ashamed for all the gloating this offseason?

BK didn’t exactly leave the cupboard bare. You clearly won the day in your 2026 portal haul. And, you ARE LSU. With CLMFK at the helm.
So I’m thinking anything less than 10-2 and a playoff appearance next season and things get awkward around here for you. No matter what you say, you know that is the expectation. As it should be. A 9-3 finish, you’ll look a little silly, but point confidently toward 2027. 8-4 or worse? Yikes. Despite the excuses and coping mechanisms you’ll throw around, you will have earned the grief you’ll catch. Agree?

It's nice to see other fanbases already setting unrealistic expectations so they can feel better when it doesn't happen.

My expectations are based on what I see and how Lane handles situations where he normally would go for it. It's a ton of new players that haven't played together. That's a factor.
Any "gloating" from me isn't about results in 2026. It's just a big frick you to everyone for all the shite that was talked and being wrong about every damn thing.

LSU was gifted by Skanky & the SEC mafia in the 1st 9-game conference schedule an unbalanced schedule this year: 5 road games, 4 home games.
Meanwhile, others schools get 5 home games & 4 schools get an annual neutral site game meaning they NEVER have a 5-road game SEC schedule.
Three or more losses in the 1st season for CLK won’t shock me.

It's year one of a new offensive regime that could not be more different from the old one. I just need to see better than BK in year one. 7-5 is where I melt. My actual expectation is 9-3.
