Not sure what you’re tying to say here but I agree.
Or I disagree and hate you now

I did not expect him to be killing it as well as he is. Poor Auburn though, thank God we didn't hire Golesh.

Yeah we dodged a bullet. Half his portal signees are USF kids.

Really fricked up Indiana when Cignetti brought in half of JMU, which instilled his culture. Allowed him to coach them for 4+ years which is when we are typically our best with a senior laden upperclassman team.

Yeah they are the 66th ranked portal class of 70 via On3. Last in the SEC and lost all their top players. Brutal.

Cignetti brought 13 guys from a team he went 52-9 at. Golesh is bringing in 14 players from a program he went 23-15 at.

JMU was also a d2 when Cignetti coached there.

He went 19-4 at JMU after they moved up.

Auburn is 12th in the country as far as additions on 247. We're 26th. Even on on3 their average transfer grade they've gained is higher than ours by a good margin. They were just perceived to have a higher talent composite to be able to lose on their roster already. That's really the only difference. They're getting more talented players than us regardless of which service you look at.
Debating the validity of the ratings is fair, but I think we're throwing stones in a glass house by saying Auburn is fricked for signing guys from USF while our class is full of guys from programs like Howard, Ouchita Baptist, Memphis, Ohio, Middle Tennessee, Angelo State, ULL, Tulane, Georgia State, etc.

I agree with all of this.
The rankings are hot garbage. That can't be forgotten, though. Hank Hendrix dropped 4 points in 247 the day he signed with Arkansas. Nothing is more indicative to me than that. Not to mention the fact that if rankings alone mattered, Arkansas would not have scored in an SEC game in the last 15 years.

Looks like Auburn jumped to #64 now.

I’m sure you are still salty washed up Bobby is gone.
I know some people close to Auburn football and they are very alarmed at what has happened since Golesh took over. Their top production all left and they’ve been replaced by mostly USF players. Portal additions on the OL and DL have been very weak.

I honestly don't care what you think.
Meanwhile, regardless of what you think my motives are, both Auburn's transfer class and high school recruiting class are graded higher than ours while we act like we're lording over them.

They’re really not. Especially when you see what they pushed out to bring in G5 backups.

Seems a lot like Kentucky and Arkansas basketball prior to this year.

I don't think the rankings are the be all, end all they may have once been, especially in the age of legal pay to play where we've already seen lots of mercenary players not living up to their rankings. Couple this with players dropping and/or rising in the rankings based off of where they commit to ( especially HS recruits) and rankings lose some of their importance.

I think a lot of people don't understand the On3 rankings. Their own explanation says it's not a ranking of team vs team but rather a ranking of how much a team has improved their overall roster compared to the previous season.
"score to measure a team’s production during the transfer process, compared relative against its roster and not a comparison against other schools. This proprietary algorithm determines if a school has improved its overall team talent, stayed the same, or declined in talent during the transfer window."
