Ole Miss has burst onto the scene as a top ten program in the NIL era. But it seems that their fanbase still has an inferiority complex. The obsession with Lane Kiffin is out of control. Your program has already proven that you can win big games without him. Have some more confidence.

The rational Rebel fans have moved on, are grateful to the players that made this season happen and are looking forward to next Fall wanting this momentum to continue. Our back 7 lacked quality and depth in spots and even though Miami exposed it I think we win that semifinal if our offense has time to run 3 or 4 more plays. The vitriol will come back each season during Ole Miss/LSU game week so long as Lane is in Baton Rouge but that's the nature of a rivalry. Again, this refers to rational Rebel fans. We're just focused on signing more Olinemen, Dlinemen, another LB, a RB, some WRs and a serviceable backup QB.

What percentage of LSU fans do you think actually consider Ole Miss their biggest rival? I’m going to say 15%.
I think most LSU fans would consider Bama a bigger rival.

they don't and will never have the resources to maintain that status. Thats why they have to keep begging the general public to make small donations to fund their NIL. They're cosplaying as an elite program and the reasons for that status have left the building

You nailed it....the only fans that consider Ole Miss their biggest rival are probably all over 70 and remember the 50's and 60's.
Most fans younger than 60 have never seen Ole miss win the SEC or a NC.
They are mostly an annoying border rival at best.
If they want to change that, they have to win some hardware!
