That's literally the title of the article.

quote:

There's no way to spin this. Alabama's Transfer Portal activity has been an outright disaster so far.

Just 20 minutes after Auburn transfer Cam Coleman committed to Texas over Alabama, the Crimson Tide's top portal commitment - NC State RB Hollywood Smothers - flipped his commitment to the Longhorns. And now Kalen DeBoer has a lot of egg on his face that won't be easy to wash away.

It's all money-driven. And Alabama either doesn't have it - or isn't willing to spend it - at the same level that programs like Texas. And if that's the case, then you can forget about Alabama being a serious threat in the National Championship race anytime soon.

Bammer is a bunch of poors these days.

If the goal is to attract young men with the flashing the most money in front of them, then I want nothing to do with this stuff anymore.

Unfortunately, that is the game in it's current form.

It was a joke sport, pranking on your earlier thread :

Since Alabama QB Austin Mack "resigned", who is Bama's QB for 2026?

Hope Alabama leadership feels the same. Y’all are toast.

Lol, wtf do you think Saban was doing for all those years in Tuscaloosa? Bringing in the best HS football players in the country by showing them the campus library?

What is the theory here? Alabama is poorer and can’t buy the best players, but they could before because everyone but Alabama had integrity?

LSU has 6 maybe 7 WR’s with legit playtime for the price of one Coleman.

Also so Arch can over and under throw him.

Prices went up.

Big difference between handing a kid a stack of bills in a McDonalds bag, and signing a multi-million dollar NIL contract.

Poorgia seems to be in a similar boat As bammer. Not looking very formidable with their portal signings

Alabama was still poorer before so why did they choose the smaller stack of bills?

Good players will still choose Bama

Can’t blame a kid for taking a cool 4 million from the most desperate team in college football
