No BS here - looking at it objectively.
- To have lost your HC right before playoff run and to have made it as far as yall did.
- To retain players.
- To still pull in a compelling transfer class
All in the midst of the circus and chaos….Any team could have imploded but yall didn’t. And yes - part of that, yall objectively have to give Kiffin credit for bc of the system and infrastructure he left behind.
That said, Geaux to hell Ole Miss.

Ole Miss was a hair on a gnat’s behind from being in the natty. Definitely commendable.

I think we can objectively give him credit when we can also objectively say he tried his damndest to destroy it after leaving.

I don't know why Kiff has to "try to" burn it all to the ground on the way out.
I think he just can't help himself.
There was a way for Kiffin to leave where Ole Miss fans basically appreciated him for the 6 great years and realized it was best for all for him to move on. He didn't take that way.

Ole Miss did good weathering the blow of Kiffin's actions.
I don't understand why coaches, these days, do what they do to their previous programs after leaving, after making millions.
Muschamp did far worse to SC after he was fired for failure to perform or meet even the slightest of expectations.
Muschamp is more hated here than even fat Brad Scott. And the fat bastard went to Clemson and immediately started telling lies on the recruiting trail.
Muschamp took his revenge to another level ... after banking more than $20 million from the Gamecocks.
There are some serious character issues with all three coaches mentioned above. All three are honorless, unethical, men.

No there wasn’t. Not this year at least

Tried his damndest to destroy it by begging the AD to let him finish the season? Or by letting his offensive staff stay and coach even after the AD was a little bitch?

Only way it would’ve happened this year is if we only won 8 games as expected. But even then, leaving for LSU would leave a mark.

There were coordinators all over this playoff coaching for their teams that are moving on somewhere else next season. None of them needed to be “allowed” to do it, it’s an understanding of how the game works. The only one unique in that respect is Kiffin. Why do you think that is?

Kiffin does totally deserve Credit for a lot that he did in Oxford but at the same time I don’t think Kiffin was lying when he said he needed Oxford more than it needed him. I think he should be very thankful of where he’s at now as opposed to when he arrived. Ole Miss will do just fine now that he’s gone and he will do great things in Baton Rouge.

Congrats to Ole Miss on the wonderful football season! Considering all the distractions the Rebs had to endure, y’all held it together and made a great run. Kudos to you guys.

HC's as well. Why was Lane unique in that he wasn't allowed to coach his team after leaving for a better opportunity?

you know the answer to this

Great question. Why was Lane Kiffin treated differently out of every coordinator and head coach in CFB that took a better opportunity, including former coordinators at Ole Miss? Puzzling indeed.

Ive heard and read alot.
Preserving roster, recruiting, staff etc. Maybe hatred over the rival. Pure frickin spite. What I know is the guy left for a better job. That much isnt in dispute.
I could think of several possibilities, but none of them worth sacrificing their best shot at a title in however many decades. They gotta live with that now.
Ive lived thru 3 natties and seen em play for 4. Whatever Ole Miss was trying to preserve should've been worth trading for a legit shot at just 1 or else wtf is this all for?

Yeah, this whole he tried to destroy them on the way out as the biggest bunch of bullshite I’ve ever heard. Why don’t you go talk to the new Penn State coach and the new Oklahoma State coach to see who burned their programs dow. All he did was congratulate you, stay out your way, loan you coaches, And all you’ve done is just shite all over them for it. Sorry he didn’t wanna sign a lifetime contract just to be able to coach the team he had built to play in the playoff, I would’ve done that shite either. And y’all talk about him threatening y’all? What a load of shite

They would be in the ncg if they were focused on winning.
