Their defense is not bad but they went prevent with 2:40 and the Rams having three timeouts. Made no sense. Just play defense if the hit you over the top, oh well, now your offense has more time.

It’s like their DC thought there was 1:00 left in the game the way they gave them the easy stuff across the middle.

I’ve never understood using it unless you’re up big 20-30 points (or more) and less than 5 minutes left.

I played defense and have 7 or so years of coaching defense. Prevent is the dumbest thing you can do. If you look at the amount of games lost by prevent, vs running the defense that got you in the game in the first place…I’m not sure how you ever go prevent.

I wonder what DeBoer and Grubb would have dreamed up to F-up Bryce.
