This is disgusting how good Indiana is. This should be us. We had teams that would frick Indiana raw not too long ago.

Just heard announcers say Cignetti had 8 four and five starts on this team. EIGHT. That should show everyone the coaching disparity that exists between IU and the rest of the field. The offense play calling is Monkenesque.

At the beginning of this game they say they only play 13 on defense and I thought they were going to be toast.

Not sure if it’s coaching disparity or an age difference. The average age player for IU is 23, the Green Bay packers is 25. I know our team is young so I wouldn’t be surprised if our average age was around 19-20.

That’s a huge disparity. I’ll be interested to see how well Indy does in 2 years.

Spend the money to retain these guys. We clearly did it with Raylen Wilson.

Just stop it.

He assembled a team of transfers from other schools that proved they could play after their HS star rating. They went to other programs that trained them and Cignetti grabbed them from the portal. It’s not like this is from organic recruiting and developing green players.

It would be like him grabbing McConkey from us his senior year and then being praised for coaching up such a lowly player.

Whatever excuse you like. They are playing in the NC. We’re not. There’s a reason and lessons to be learned …..or you can just bury your head in the sand and when you pull it out you find you’ve morphed into Dabo Sweeney.

We could do it. It would disrupt the roster. It would blow the roster to shite. All continuity would be lost. Guys who actually wanted to be at Georgia would leave bc we’re paying dudes old enough to be their dads to come in and take their spots. It would be a one and done situation to get that third natty. Indiana will be Jack shite in the 2026 season when all these geriatric fricks are in the nfl next year.

I’d rather watch a group of kids that committed to UGA come up, develop, get their shot and maybe catch lightning in a bottle and win something special than cheer for a bunch of mercenaries on their 3rd stops assembled to win a trophy.

I wonder how many of these IA starters actually came there out of HS?

Cuban will just break out the checkbook and they’ll go pillage talent from from other smaller schools and do it again.

This IU coach has put together a great staff and the right mix of players. I am very impressed. BTW...Kirby needs to start using this portal and NIL $ better.

Cignetti looked at their production/performance before taking them, not star rating. Then, he and his staff coached and planned their asses off.

Who would have ever thought Indiana could be the first team ever to go 16-0.
Would that make them the GOAT?

They just made the playoffs in back to back seasons, so maybe not.

34.6% of Indiana’s starts this year were from recruits. Only team with slightly less from the playoff field was Ole Miss with 33.7%. UGA had the most starts by recruits with it being 90%. I believe UGA had the 2nd youngest roster in the SEC, only behind Tennessee. Indiana’s average age was also a bit over 23.2 years old, which is the oldest. They have adults playing against kids. You guys reckon I could play on my son’s middle school flag football team? I’m a bit over the hill at 42 but I’m still a fairly athletic 6’ 2” 200lb guy.
