Great throw, rewatching Bama's highlights (only a minute length video), Bernard scores if he keeps his balance. Mack hit him in stride...

He also had a drive where he was 0-fer.

Kee is the way.

Give me Keelon. I’m rooting for Mack too. No ill will but we get Keelon for two more. So unless everyone was fooled and he ficking sucks, I’m on that train

Team Russell. He is the highest rated recruit to sign with UA or at least QB. He does not turn out great time to find a new fall sport.

This would be an interesting standalone thread where we could keep track

I thought people said we can't evaluate talent at Alabama....

I'll take Mack. I know people that have seen him in practice and were very surprised he didn't start this year.

Ideal situation for me would be for Mack to win a close competition next year and Russell somehow stays like Ty did. We will have good depth next year and Russell can take over for the next 2 years. May even end up as a number one pick.

Would be for Keelon to be everything he has been hyped to be and start immediately. Austin can't transfer and can be a backup then transfer next year and we have Russell coming back automatically for the third year.

How is 3 years straight of first year starters ideal?

I think DeBoer should start Russell because DeBoer's got 2 years to secure his job and he's better off paying whatever cost in 2026 to make sure Russell is locked, cocked, ready to rock in 2027.

Heard we're going to a 7 tightend formation with no oline.

There was a drive where he had Horton open still making his cut toward the sideline and Mack just held the ball. It appeared he was eyeballing Horton the whole way and then he decided to bail just as Indiana rusher nailed him for a sack.
He also had some inaccurate throws, ill advised throws and a fumble.
The throw to Germie was an exception in an otherwise mediocre performance.
Definitely no Tua in the second half vs Georgia.
He’s probably an average college QB but nothing special.
