Dude was a true freshman that was good enough to play in every game. No way he agreed to return without an NIL deal.

Maybe the NIL deal had not been signed. Several players on Texas' roster agreed to stay then renegotiated after verbally agreeing and hit the portal.

Probably was told to enter by the staff in attempting to set precedent/facilitate axing the Washington-Williams deal, seems like typical sleazy Kiffin move. LSU is single handedly making me lose interest in CFB with their perpetual scumminess
