Normally I’d say fiesta bowl sec team vs Miami basically would be a SEC home game
With that said it’s a long travel in the middle of the week without a holiday.
OTOH this is a once in a lifetime thing so I could see lots of Mississippians showing up
As an LSU fan having been to multiple NC games and playoff games in the past I think I’d have to pass on this week and plan for the NC and if we don’t make it oh well.
So rebs-yall going to show up in numbers or is the stadium gonna be all corporate sponsors?

Ole Miss fans had Georgia fans outnumbered 2 and a half or 3 to 1 in the Sugar Bowl. Kirby said that it felt like an Ole Miss home game in his post game press conference. Ole Miss fans could've worn red to make it less embarrassing.
So in other words, I think that a lot of Ole Miss fans will go to the Fiesta Bowl.

It’s a legit question. I was trying to put myself in their shoes and I can’t

Yeah Sugar Bowl was probably close to 70% Ole Miss fans. Obviously NOLA is a big alum base for Ole Miss fans and is close.
Would be incredible if the locations would have been switched and Ole Miss/Miami was in ATL. Would be another Ole Miss home game.

I honestly figured this.
Om was going to be HYPED for the game and close proximity to Nola.
But AZ is different

Enjoy wondering if Lane will pull anyone to Baton Rouge from the portal while Ole Miss is advancing in the playoffs.

My niece is going and her parents said there are three planes as of now of Ole Miss fans booked direct round trip flights there. That’s all I got.

They've added four nonstop flights from Jackson to Phoenix, so there is some demand, but like you said - its a long way. I think there are quite a few weighing going to PHX or waiting to go to Miami.
The CFP model is hard on the fans.
Indiana fans will have to have gone to Pasadena, Atlanta and Miami.
Oregon to Miami, Atlanta and back to Miami
Miami to College Station, Dallas, Phoenix but get a home game for title
Ole Miss gets NOLA, Phoenix, Miami

It will be a lot of rebel fans there. If they pull it if off, I would expect Miami to be over run with OM fans. Complete take over.

A lot of fans holding out for Miami, but I know of a lot going as well. If you look at the secondary market prices in the Ole Miss and Miami section, Ole Miss is a tougher ticket. Ole Miss will probably be at least 60/40 in Phoenix.

I can't make it to both Arizona and Miami. We're going to roll the dice and hope we get to see the Rebs play for a title on January 19. But, we're the only family from our tailgate group that's skipping the Fiesta Bowl.

That’s kind of what I expected.
Really hard call to make

I’m holding out for Miami myself…..New Orleans was great, but I could only do one more trip.
Posted on 1/5/26 at 1:45 pm to Adam Banks
I bet a lot more Ole Miss fans make the trip than Miami fans. Wish I could go.

OM fans will travel. They would be crazy not to. I can't imagine not doing everything in my power to see LSU play OU in 2003.

I went to the Sugar Bowl, skipping this, will be in Miami if we make it.

I am going. My entire family is going. I'm in about 10 group texts of people going. There will be more OM people in Phoenix than New Orleans and we took over that stadium.
