We may very well have dodged a bullet.

Realize if you will that Ty was a legit first round...possibly first pick in the draft earlier in the year.

Then, he was injured, and played hurt.

Potentially a heisman winner (he was the clear leader half way through), he could make every throw prior to the Missouri injury.

Now, we legitimately have a shot of bringing him back for another year.

If we can correct the deficiencies on the offensive line (as we have a legit game breaker back on the way), imagine what we could do with a seasoned, healthy Ty at the helm.

Ty's draft stock has dropped to the point where it no longer makes sense for him to leave. Same with his NIL potential.

If we get smart and double down, we are likely to have a dominant experience QB as opposed to a promising but raw QB under center.

Ty can also help keep the roster in intact. I can't imagine any of those guys not wanting a muligan on this year. And a chance to make happen what could have been.

We better hope Simpson comes back because Austin Mack aint it and Russell starting as a true sophomore will cost us at least three regular season games.

If KR isn't ready to start after a year in the system, that's on the staff.

If I knew for sure Ty's issues were all injury related...maybe, but I doubt that's the case.

If Ty returns, JMO 10 and 12 will transfer.

Ty just might return but not to Bama for another year. He will have many offers and Kirby will be 1st. put the kid on a good team with a good OC and he will do well.

I agree, it's time to prepare for the future. We have the highest rated QB in Alabama recruiting history on the bench. Should be the Russel show next two years.

I believe he is too talented to sit another year.

Not true. Russell has already publicly said he is okay with sitting another year. He's not going anywhere.

No he didn't. He said he wasn't transferring. But so did Bak.

He's actually said it multiple times he doesn't mind sitting another year. He came into camp injured, got a late start on learning the offense and is nowhere near ready to start.
