FWIW this buddy is a huge bama booster and has been on the phone since halftime with his circle. He’s telling me that Kalen’s leash will be VERY short and Saban will be on staff with something like “Associate Head Coach”. This is apparently so he can swoop in quickly if the proverbial cord is pulled.
It is an unprecedented move but he acknowledged that we are in an unprecedented NIL era.

Saban isn’t risking his title as the best to ever do it to pull Bama out of the gutter. He might make some calls to recruits but I think the damage is done.
