These statues were commissioned and installed a few years ago in Austin. Needless to say, the reception was…not good.

Arch has finally put paid to the idea that these were off base.

These statues were made over a decade ago by the Co-Op bookstore near campus.

They were placed in their parking lot and store front.

The school had nothing to do with them.

From an Arkansas fan.

As far as I can remember, they displayed them somewhere on campus but the reaction/backlash was so bad that they quickly removed them and stored them somewhere out of sight. This was 15+ years ago so memory is fuzzy. Probably dispersed in the mancaves of rich alumni at this point

A) I never said otherwise.

B) The Co-Op is as close as a store can get to being a part of the school while still being independent.

C) What does any of that matter?

I've checked out ancient statues up close in China, Italy and Greece and the paint makes them look off putting.

Don’t confuse aggy with facts or truth. Both confuse the cult.
