Factoring in how teams with a bye have struggled. Then with how pedestrian Ohio St. looked last night. A touchdown and a hook? Seems to easy

Does the fact that Mizzou, Vandy, Tennessee and LSU all looked terrible factor in at all for Bama?

Maybe Miami was tired of being shite on all week about how they weren’t even supposed to be there, and how great Ohio state was. Maybe they looked a lot bigger, faster and stronger, and wanted it more. That seems to be the trend. We always go into this, “whoever loses wasn’t any good”, but maybe the Miami team who was number two in the country actually is that good.

They definitely looked it last night

Doubtful once you factor in the opt outs from those games. Bowl games that aren't part of the CFP can no longer be relied on to establish any kind of trend or conference superiority.

I guess I don't understand what y'all are calling a bye. there has been one game with Ohio State having a bye. Who are the other 4?

All of the BYE teams were underdogs last year. The favorite won every game.

Penn State was -11 over Boise
Texas was was -13.5 against Arizona State
Ohio State was -2.5 against Oregon
Notre dame was -1.5 against Georgia

Ohio State was -7.5 tonight. They're the first quarterfinal team to be favored and lose.

I say take your trailer title and pawn it and use it as a double secured loan, then take it to the bookie.

They’re referencing the 4 BYE teams from last year.
