Talking about the mess that is college sports recruiting/eligibility etc. Lack of rules, lack of clarity, lack of oversight, loss of identity of college sports.

Fear of being sued is what he says is holding up any kind of rules around all,this. Lawyers wanting to get their cut of college sports is how we got here. it’s also,what is gonna keep it going. Can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Until the revenues from TV, tickets and merch decline it won’t end.

Dudes been making strong arse offers since Green Day was cool. I’m not sure he’s someone who’s opinion I care about in a level playing field even though I do agree with him.

He’s saying that there needs to be enforced and clear rules about eligibility, and that college sports are intended to be about the development of young athletes. It’s not even about paying players, although that’s gotten out of hand too
