THIS is why you don't play these games anywhere but a dome. Huge disadvantage for us.

Quite possibly the worst take of all time.

Could be worse! Beats the wind/snow and frigid temps!

Maybe. I get their rushing offense is better than ours, but I was most concerned about their precision passing game. Rain definitely helps our defense out, and anything can happen in a low scoring slugfest where turnovers will be key.

We already drop passes, so maybe rain will even that out a bit and cause Indiana some issues (or actually help our guys focus…believe it or not, that’s happened before where weather causes a struggling WR to actually play better). The underdog typically appreciates weather mucking up the game a bit. Win the TO battle and we’ll have a shot

I wouldn’t get too excited about the forecast yet. A lot can happen between now and then.

It's in Southern California plus this weather favors Bama really.

Probably longer than you are old, boy. Remember back to FSU and Michigan?

I don't remember much bad weather in the Rose Bowl.

Do you actually think the rain is why Bama lost those games?

I think the rain is exactly why Alabama lost the Michigan game. Almost all of Michigan points came during an extended offensive melty during the rain storm.

There’s no denying that we haven’t played well lately when it’s raining. Could be coincidence, could be something. But against both Michigan and Florida state, when the rain was falling we played like shite

That's why I think Alabama will be more prepared for the rain conditions than Indiana will. We have enough rain experience LOL

Considering the two major rain games were technically back to back and nothing was seemingly learned from the first after a whole offseason of being able to ruminate over "damn we really stepped on our own dick and lost this game due to not handling the rain" has me skeptical that you should be thinking that.

I would suspect that a program like Indiana that is beating teams by out-preparing their opponents is not going to be unprepared for weather conditions. Metrological scouting is probably built into their usual preparation. I have my doubts the same can be said about this staff to be quite honest. Those mid-game rainstorms were forecasted in each of our games too.

Looks like rain is almost guaranteed right now.

Really sucks for fans making the trip out there.

Not the first rain game I’ve been to, won’t be the last.
