I know disappearing can occur following and embarrassing defeat but the game has been over a while now and I’m not seeing a sooner on the first 3 pages

Bama fans cried and bitched and made excuses for a month after we beat that arse in Tuscaloosa.

I'm not even mad, the better team won.
OU outperformed any expectations for 2025 and learned to win on the road in the SEC. Not a horrible season, all things considered.
Now STFU trying to taunt us Okies or we're gonna rally the Native American spirits to hex your game vs. Indiana. I'm talking peace pipes, incense, small animal sacrifices, chanting unintelligibly.. all the things.

Bro we are more than okay. We had a losing season last year and just won 10 games and hosted a playoff game while beating Alabama everywhere but the scoreboard. Far exceeded expectations this year and Venables has the foundation set to make a run next year.

ETA: I may be the one kidding Wisebone85 & Naked Bootleg but it's hard to not be impressed with Venables and your programs direction. You have become an SEC staple [in record time] while other programs flounder. And long gone are the days of pass happy Lincoln Riley while not fielding a defense w/ a pulse. Congrats on your direction and accomplishments.

Perhaps reality has set in regarding the move to the SEC?
A lot of misguided swagger from fans of a team that is only 8-8 thus far against their conference opponents in the first two years in our beloved conference. They are slow on the uptake but beginning to learn that this isn't the Big 12....

Us Oklahoma fans don’t live on this board 24/7 like you do. Also, every thought in your brain doesn’t have to be a thread topic. Some of us were at the game and also posted on here during and after giving out congrats to real Alabama fans.

We know that in our beloved conference, you have to have won more than 8 conference games to swagger....we are humble...OU is not...just delusional.
Case in point...first two years in the SEC...
Mizzou went 9-7 in Conference wins
Oklahoma went 8-8 in Conference wins
So you see? This isn't the Big 12...every year is a grind. Best get used to it...MIZ
