Not saying he's any less of a great QB. But that is certainly eye-opening.

That is a bit shocking honestly.

So in other words, we need to start off aggressive by rushing more than 3 and rattle him early.

Definitely need to rush more than 3 and we need to do away with the mush rush. Get him out of his comfort zone early!

I’m interested to see how Overton is doing. If he’s truly back to full strength and ready to go that’s massive. You could see his absence against UGA and Oklahoma. Keeley played very well against OU. But getting a player the caliber of Overton back is huge. Not just because of his talent but also the fact that we have three players to rotate at Bandit.

I think that is what the coaches want. Latham was supposed to be part of that, originally.

I will say that Oregon, Iowa, and OSU are all VERY good defenses and all were away from home. The Maryland game they were up 21-0 like 6 minutes in

I believe that we can manufacture our Court mandated 24 to 27 points and sneak out with a win

Evidently you didn't watch Oregon give up 509 yards and 34 points to James Madison. JMU was going right down the field from the first possession.

Eh.... Oregon hasn't proven to be a great defense. Iowa I don't believe could match OU, UGA or even Auburn.

OSU has fantastic talent and a great defense and they held Indiana below 20.

I believe we have a great and very talented defense as well.

Iowa certainly doesn’t have the raw talent of Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU or Auburn. Heck, even Missouri and Tennessee had talented players up front. South Carolina had a rugged defensive line.

It was 34-6 at halftime. Let’s be real Oregon was preparing for Texas Tech since selection Sunday

Their offense scored 23 on Oregon and 20 on Iowa. I think we are absolutely in the same class as the best defenses they’ve played

Just gotta manufacture those 3 or 4 touchdowns that, aside from the SECCG, we’ve been good about getting against great defenses

They still had the starters in for the second half. JMU was moving the ball in the first half as well, just not finishing drives. Regardless of if they were looking ahead, this was a Sun Belt offense shredding them.

Every year Oregon is hyped beyond belief and then they lose to every good team they play. Until I see something different, I'm going to assume they're overrated as always.

Glorious seems to be hyping up IU and degrading us in every post. Makes you wonder.

I wonder how much effect the fact that Oregon was scoring at will had. Their first several scores were less than 5 plays with huge explosives. It had the feel of an early season romp against an overmatched G5.

That puts the defense on the field often. It also changes a defense’s focus a bit.

The real traditional issue with Oregon has been an offense that would romp lesser teams and then get shut down by true contenders.

At face value it looks like he struggles against better defenses. Let's hope that trend continues New Year's Day.
