Nothing would surprise me either way.
--Grubb is going to keep running up the middle.
--Obsesssively run space plays to areas there is no space (short side of field)
--Being cute when there is no need to.
--Bunching the players so the defenders can be close to the LOS.
We'll see what happens. But I'm not going to predict Alabama's offense is suddenly going to make a dramatic turn around when they have progressively digressed for many weeks. Grubb obviously thinks what he is doing is best.

A few small adjustments could change a lot.
Honestly getting the ball to a play maker in space is enough for me. If Oklahoma sniffs it out and shuts it down every time. Hats off to them.

If I had one question for this season, it would be what happened to Ty and what Grubb did to work with him on his mental approach and any injuries. Its clear Deboer would only sit Ty (even if for a series) unless he got a major injury.
I've been the biggest Ty fan there is but when I see his eyes are in panic mode, I think letting another QB play 1 drive might help settle him down. Heck the other QB might do better. Who knows.

We'll never find that out. Playing Mack, who's thrown less than 20 passes the entire season, on the road against that defense with a potentially shaky OLine sounds like a bad idea any way you slice it.

Honestly, without the back breaking mistakes similar to last time, Bama wins this one easily. Solid special teams play and not getting Ty leveled often so that he doesn't get spooked would work wonders.

You know Ty could also not hold on to the ball forever, throw it away if the protection he helps call isn't correct or if the linemen get beat and not run backward and step up?
They literally have their ends run up the field because they know his tendencies is to get scared and turn around and run backward.
Half of his sacks are because he takes bad ones making one of these mistakes.
Now someone try to make excuses about fear or injuries.
If you're so damn scared and injured; tell coach you can't play.

What the frick are you talking about.
None of what you posted is true.
Are you trying to play the victim card again?
DE’s speed rush bc Ty is scared?
What a low iq post.

As said before you're not even worthy of anyone's response because you can't actually respond with details regarding a topic and only insult.
You don't even understand what I said and it's an easy concept.
OUs gameplan was to rush their outside lineman (whether the the twisting guy or the DE) immediately up the field and use combinations of mixed blitz/pressures inside to chaos havoc. Which is why our Center and QB missing line calls really messed us up at points. They were always bringing extra inside just with different styles. They mainly brought a LB off of an inside guy (sometimes behind a twist) to overload a side.
Why it was so effective is because they saw from film study, Ty always wants to hold the ball and when he feels pressured he runs backward; he rarely steps up in the pocket. This is why KDB and Grubb criticized him about how he wouldn't just throw it away and kept holding which played into Skeletor's hands.
How it worked was; if you feel some pressure from a confusing blitz inside, you're panicked and have a tendency to run backward if you don't throw... who would be in immediate pursuit? The outside which would create a wall.
Hence why I said Ty shouldn't be panicking and needs to step up in the pocket because like last time OU will send those outside rushers up the field to create that wall.
They also do this because they don't fear Ty will use the space created or punish them by taking off and running.
Now I have explained a rush concept which Skeletor used against us the first game. Can you actually discuss this concept or will you just insult me because you don't understand anything besides insulting the coach and "run da bawl"?

All this is bullshite you are pulling out of ur arse. I don’t have to discuss your fairy tale opinions. You were wrong all of last year and are seething about it.
Troll on, brother.
Just try to control your temper.

As expected.
You lack the intelligence or the capacity to make rationale points or add to any sporting related discussion. You're only hear to insult people.
Anyways God bless you and carry on lol.

He’s a race baiter that does nothing but post negative comments about Ty. Coincidentally, he loved Milroe last year. Why the moderators haven’t banned him yet is beyond me. It should have been done a long time ago. All he does is spam the site up.

Wrong again.
No one has to address your unserious fantasies.
You have no rational points. Your football knowledge is ancient.
The Alabama rant has Ystar fatigue.

There is no good scenario in which a backup QB comes in. That QB will be facing the same insane pressure that OU can generate but will now be seeing the very confusing OU defensive coverage for the first time.

So criticizing the QB is now race baiting?
Care to explain why you guys bring race into a conversation about QB play?
Many media members even coaches have criticized our QB play. I guess they're all race baiting as well?

They should actually ban you guys for continually bringing up race.

Irony is I did the same last year. Supported the QB until he showed he didn't have it mentally then I said I wanted the backup.
Did you bring up race then? No, you didn't.
When I wanted Ty to take the job instead of Milroe that summer before last season did you bring up race?
Again, no you didn't. It's obvious you guys are projecting whatever is inside of you but this isn't about you or how you see people you don't like, this is about Alabama football and what needs to happen in order to beat Oklahoma tonight

Agreed. Putting a backup QB in against possibly the best defense in the country that is known for mixing and disguising looks is just not an option barring injury. Ty has flaws but gives THIS TEAM it's best chance to win this game.

Same was argued with Jalen Hurts and Tua yet Tua came in and made that throw.
We really don't know.
What we do know is after tenn last year we all wanted KDB to change the QB and he refused. Even after OU, he refused. So he ain't changing now. We need Ty to get it together mentally and be accurate. Period.

this!!!!!!
it has killed the "momentum" in so many drives this season
