•••Conference championships, not national championships

Note, I am not calling Georgia a national dynasty. I have never seen a Georgia fan suggest this in real life or on a message board. But if we win the national title this year, I'm gonna buy so much shite that says DYNASTY on it that I'll probably have to rearrange my storage unit and I won't give a shite.

Nor am I comparing Georgia to Alabama historically. I have never seen a Georgia fan suggest this in real life or on a message board. Georgia will never have Alabama's trophy case, but that's okay.

Spoiler: There's no LSU on this list.

Georgia – 2022 through present

Alabama – 2012 through 2023

Florida – 1991 through 1996

Auburn – 1987 through 1989

Georgia – 1980 through 1982

Alabama – 1971 through 1979

Alabama – 1964 through 1966

Ole Miss – 1960 through 1963

Tennessee – 1938 through 1940

It's all subjective, but I consider a dynasty to be 3 championships in 5 years. That's why I did it like that. But someone could use 3 championships in 6 years or maybe even 7 and it would be okay too.

Bama won a championship in 09, 11, 12, 15, 17 and 20.

Alabama lost a play in game for the national championship in 08.

Alabama lost in the NCG in 21.

They went back to the playoffs in 23 and lost to Michigan, which ended the dynasty.

LSU really hasn’t sustained success throughout their football history.

UGA won the natty in 2021. Why would you not include that year?

Multiple NCs in a three year span is a dynasty. Nothing else.

I was at the 2011 SECCG, and Bama wasn't there.

Your opinion is probably the minority. 3 championships is the magic number would be the consensus.

Yeah unfortunately I don’t think we get the third this year. Too many days off between games

Even before that season, Bama had 1 national title in the previous 5 seasons.

Bama will always have the best dynasty. As a Dawg fan, I can accept that. They will always be the gold standard.

If you are including dates for schools that had other teams win between their wins then LSU should be on the list.

LSU won 2001, 2003, 2007, lost 2005.

Well his list is dumb. He’s including Ole Miss “60-63”

Ole Miss won 60, Bama/LSU 61, Ole Miss 62, 63. So he’s just randomly picking dates that he likes and has no actual methodology. So if he’s including that then he should include LSU as well.

He included Auburn 87-89. Auburn won 87, 88 was both LSU and Auburn, 89 was Bama, Auburn, and Tennessee So 1 win and 2 ties.

By this criteria, it’s Bama through 23, not 21.
