Charges have been dropped on freshmen Bo Walker and Dontrell Glover. Video surveillance shows them scanning items and the scanner didn’t work properly.

I’m sure ESPN and other media outlets will be falling over themselves to send out an update on the situation!

I wonder how many speeding charges leveled at athletes from various programs were due to faulty radars.

Asking the tough questions. I am sure the manager of that Walmart is now a season ticket holder for Georgia games.

I’m sure they were looking to score some big ticket black market items:

Georgia football players Dontrell Glover and Bo Walker were stopped last Friday afternoon, Dec. 12, when they tried to walk out of Walmart on the eastside of Athens with paper towels, paper plates and Febreze air freshener products without paying, according to a police incident report obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald on Monday

I know whenever I have that issue at self checkout I say to myself "welp, I guess this stuff is free."

Sounds like a nice legal precedent to set.

Eventually, folks are going to learn to let the story play out before casting judgement on the matter.

Auburn's not getting any more of our players who have been kicked out of the program. Deal with it.

Everyone is so quick to point out how social media has given everyone with a phone a voice... without ever asking if everyone with a phone should have a platform in the first place.

So, they knew the items didn't scan, but threw them in the bag anyway?
You can look at the screen to see if an item scanned.
I had this happen to me this past week. An item wouldn't scan; it stayed at the store.

If the scanner didn’t work, how and what did they pay for the items they walked out with

I have never used the self-scanners at Walmart but at my grocery store it beeps upon a successful scan. No beep, rescan.

Yeah, that's impossible. You know damn good and well when you go to checkout they didn't get scanned because there will be nothing to pay for.

They must not have AC.
