Maybe a nerd is what they need in Michigan.
He seems ethical and Michigan is long over due for someone who isn't a total scumbag

He's also coached in the SEC.
I think he would do really well at Michigan.

Nice. What was Brian Kelly’s high point?

FYI before you cling to Lane Kiffin’s nutsack, his is 9th

I'm baffled as to how the guy managed to finagle an 8-4 season into a big extension when no one else wanted him.

Brian Kelly’s high point at a northern school was an undefeated regular season with a NC game appearance.

My thoughts exactly but humor aside, Mizzou has been competitive as heck since coming into the SEC.
They’ve improved their program because of joining and though it has been happening before Drinkwitz makes me give props to them and they’ve stepped up to keep him.
He’s surely not about to go to the circus that is currently UM football. JMHO

Big Game Brian famously never won a NY6 bowl or better.

Lane’s high water mark is #9.

….ok?

I’m confused why you are so upset.

I’m pointing out that Drink has done solid at a northern school.

If enough money talks, Eli walks. Gonna take a lot of money though.

Could he do well there? Well, yeah. Indiana will probably ease back a bit going forward which means Michigan would be one of two big dogs in the conference. Lots of money at their disposal which is huge for Michigan.

The talent levels have declined a bit in the state of Michigan itself. But, with NIL, now you can shop for those missing pieces and Michigan will probably have a nice shopping budget.

Eli could sleep walk his way through their usual schedule, unless they get a bit over confident with the OOC games, and rack up 9-10 wins in the regular season. 11 wins a season would be very much in reach.

Where Eli may find himself getting some heat from the fans is the end of the season match up with Ohio State. He could do wonderful the rest of the year but if he drops a couple of those rivalry games in a row the Wolverine fans will turn on him.

Apparently, Michigan has huge NIL resources so that really is what matters now.

The guy has proved he can recruit and do well in the portal. And that’s at Mizzou.

Michigan is one of the top five brands in college football.

I think he would do well there. The scheduled certainly is much, much easier. 9-10 wins is almost guaranteed every year.

The problem is that last game. Lose two or three of those and his seat gets really hot.
