2026 Notre Dame recruiting class...#2 in the country

How many of you SEC fans can say you have a better one over a team that hasnt won a title since 1988 and plays cream puff schedules? Lets discuss.....Notre Dame must be irrelevant.....right? If so....why do recruits keep coming here when we havent won shite in decades?

SEC fans say their conference is the best ever.....and it probably is....so the question still remains....how can a team like Notre Dame that hasnt won a title since the 1980's out recruit all the teams in that power conference?

Still waiting for an answer from any SEC fan here...how is Notre Dame out recruiting all SEC teams when we havent won a title since the 80's and dont even play in a conference?

It’s not probably is, it’s proven to be. More than 3 times as many national titles by more different teams since we started playing championship games.

Promises of an easier schedule….. They also are willing to throw that Catholic(Mary worshipping religion) money at players… And didn’t they lower academic standards recently making it easier to recruit more athletes?

Money, catholic, chance to play at a storied program, easier shot at the playoffs, grew up a fan, etc. There’s plenty of reasons.
Just because you are not as relevant nationally or to viewership as ND use to be doesn’t mean you can’t recruit especially in the NIL era. Also with transfer portals teams are not going all in on recruiting like they use to because you can plug holes with transfers. So….congrats on your class but unless you stack top 5 4 years in a row AND crush the transfer portals teams AND keep your talent from being poached it doesn’t really matter
