Bama wouldn’t have had negative total yards rushing. Food for thought.

Meh. Ty Simpson is injured most just don’t know it. I don’t like what he did because it you’re going to play you have go full Gunner but they put that ENTIRE game on him and the defense.

If there were OL down the field it would have been a penalty to throw it maybe? I don't know.

Lots can be said about Ty, but he certainly isn't a pussy by any means.

Young man has taken a beating this year. He keeps popping back up.

If I'm remembering the play correctly, one of their trash RBs missed a blocking assignment. There was nothing Ty could do.

Sometimes, backing out and getting negative yards is the safer, healthier play.

The kid is playing hurt so I don't think there's any pussification going on other than maybe the shape of your mouth.

You'd think if he were such a pussy he would have tapped himself out of the game a few times this season.

I have no idea how "hurt" he is, but it happened in the Missouri game and strangely enough, he hasn't been the same since. You can tell when he throws he's throwing "stiff" to compensate for the pain. Hence the number of inaccurate passes since the Missouri game.

But, if he's that hurt Austin Mack needs to come in and Simpson needs to come out.

Saban at least showed a willingness to pull a well known and well regarded starter in critical games if their game was off - like Jalen in the 2017 title game and Tua in the 2018 SECCG. Both sparks led to a win. Hell, he pulled Blake Barnet in the opener for Jalen Hurts and never looked back even though Blake was the presumptive starter.
