It's cool, but private sector would print a wrap and have each helmet done in minutes.

PS - I am envious, and would pay for one in a personal collection.

Just a template would have cut the time in half. And decal's in composites are routine and done for several decades. They're usually placed in the mold and the results much preferable and almost effortless once the graphics is decided upon.
And I'm sure they'll outlast what he's sprayed on.

GameDay featured a guy that does hand painted helmets for Boise, Utah, Michigan, UTk, Illinois, BYU and others, so maybe not all.

By far the best looking helmet I've ever seen. Talk about artwork....... WOW. I'd buy one of those just to have something so nice in my home.

Exactly. Its craftsmanship put into each one that makes them so nice.

If this is for real (I don’t think so), I expect to see paint streaks from Navy’s helmets all over Army’s helmets and shoulder pads, much less degradations to the Navy helmets themselves - and I don’t care what kind of paint it is.
The Navy helmet decor will be a wrap, change my mind…
