The fact that ND threw a fit like a toddler when they were left out of the CFP....

shows that the committee 100% made the right decision.

So when fans boo and coaches bitch out refs for a call they made, that’s evidence that they made the right call now?

I’m already tired of hearing about them.

What a bunch of entitled crybabies.

And while we’re on the subject, their game day atmosphere is overrated, and their girls are mid.

Here's the difference. Fans and coaches boo bad calls because they understand the game. They know the rulebook and can see the call on the field and on replay. ND fans are crying because the committee didn’t give them what they wanted. Objective reasoning vs subjective reasoning.

Perhaps the decision by Notre Dame to eschew accepting a bowl invite had something to do with what they perceived as blatant favoritism shown the SEC CCG LOSING team maintaining a ranking while other teams who lost their CCG went down in the rankings.

You vastly overrated the ND girls. My thought on ND girls is that they probably look like the chunky lesbian with glasses on Scooby Doo.

Prove me wrong.

News flash: The BigXII ain't the SEC. BYU ain't Bama.

But here's why I don't feel sorry for them. How many times has ND had a chance to join a conference and how many times have the declined the invitation? If they TRULY wanted that 13th game, they've had multiple opportunities to be eligible for it. They decided they didn't want to do that and it bit them in the backside this year.

But none of that was REALLY the problem this year. The REAL problem was the committee not valuing the head to head of the Mia vs ND game until the last week of the season. That should have been in play from the beginning like everyone else in CFB said it should. Then the expectation of ND being better than a team that beat them is never set.

If ND doesn't get what they want, they will take their ball and go home...and hold their breath. Children.

I get it’s easy to bag on Notre Dame but how is this really any different that teams opting out of the NIT when they don’t make the NCAAT? The CFP has rendered the bowl games meaningless. Stuff like this is the bi-product of the system they all created. None of us care about the bowl games, why should they pretend to

their ad is a bitch. can't imagine Notre dame boosters are happy with these optics. Miami beat them on the field. Jmu and tulane are contractual..... acting like a toddler is a bad look.

Except for 2020 when it was convenient for them to play an ACC schedule. They went 10-0, and Clemson beat them in the ACC Championship game by 24, and they still got to go to the playoffs that year, and lost to Bama by 17.

Actually, I think that supports my argument. The one year they had a conference championship game, they weren't penalized for the extra loss.

They weren't "left out". They "failed to qualify".

How did the Irish do in their CCG? They made their choice. The rest of College Football is under no obligation to change for it.
