If tweet fails to load, click here. After the initial suckage of losing by 21, there seem to be many who think Alabama is still in.

They would beat these two big ten teams. These teams have beaten no one, no one, no one.

Should be out but probably just trade places with ND

I think Bama is out but there are many who disagree

Josh Pate has had a hard on all season for bama. They’ve looked terrible over the last month of the season and got blown out by a playoff team today. They’ll have should not get in. Miami and ND are both playing better football.

Hell I hope they make it to just to give them something to remember when they are sitting in Shreveport for the Weed Whacker Bowl next year

I bet Bama is out.

Pate is kinda dumb. His coach chase coverage was wrong as is much of his content. While I believe Bama could beat both OSU and IU, they dont deserve it. Three losses? frick off.
Well, unless their inclusion excluded North Dame(sic).

Josh Pate is an alabama homer. The precedent was set years ago:
Auburn lost 28-7 in 2017 and dropped out as a 3 loss team even though they were the #1 SEC seed. We didn’t have negative rushing yards in that game and looked more competitive than alabama did today.

Yes but Miami and ND didn’t have to play today. If Alabama gets in it’s because they refuse to punish a team for being top two in their conference while the others get a bye.

That was a four team playoff. Night and day difference

I don’t see how you can penalize a team for losing an extra game against a team they already beat on the road.
Alabama would be favored on a neutral field against half the field of 11 other teams.

I think anyone who thinks they don't get in isn't counting Bama's mulligan. You have to subtract a loss.
I don't think they deserve it, but I think they will get in.

Is it? Bama was on the edge of the playoffs field and got embarrassed

Ummmm...I think one of them beat Texas. You know, the same Texas that took out A&M.

Auburn dropped 5 spots in the rankings.
You’re likely going to get punished for getting smashed in a championship game. Especially one with negative rushing yardage.

Put BYU in then I guess
Much easier just to say a conference game won’t effect you unless you get your arse blistered by 3 or more touchdowns
