ND apparently played better at the end of the year and was thus ranked ahead. Vandy obviously played better than Bama at the end of the year.

It should but I think the committee looks at the big picture. Anything can happen in one game....I mean Florida beat Texas....does that mean they are a better team than Texas? If they played 10 times....Texas would win 9 of them....Florida just happened to catch them on that one day. Thats why Ithink ND is above Miami....if ND and Miami played today...ND would be a favorite in that game....without a doubt.

Paradox- they will if they put both teams in. They will have ND at 10 and Miami at 9 just make it look like they care about H2H now and dont have to worry about any blowback now. If they plan to keep Bama in then Miami is screwed.
