Is Oklahoma's #8 seed Secure? 2 loss teams and Bama.

Not trolling, If we are comparing resume's, eye test, etc.... is OU locked in at 8? They didn't look too great in their last game, they have 2 losses just like ND/MIAMI/BYU/Vandy/ and did not play in the SEC Championship game.
For the sake of discussion, is it possible the 2 loss team comparison expands to include them and one of the other listed teams move into the 8 spot?

I think so. Nobody behind them can move up. They had one of the toughest schedules in the nation and did well with it.

The CFP hasn't been known for shaking up much about their rankings due to championship games.

There will be no dramatic change in the ranks above Bama right now. 9 and 10 are the only question marks

A few weeks ago, Oklahoma beats Tennessee by 6 points and jumped 7 spots in the rankings to firmly place them in the playoff rankings.
Last week, Vandy beat Tennessee by 21 points and dropped a spot in the rankings to avoid putting them in the rankings.

Yeah...not saying they should get left out, but wondering if their position at 8 locked in. Could any of the others move up a spot and OU slides to 9 or 10.

Most overrated team in the playoffs. They should’ve never been #8. Vandy would smoke them A&M would smoke them, Texas did smoke them.

OU has something like the 85th ranked offense. You guys won’t be able to keep up with any offense that has a pulse. Your defense is good but wasn’t good enough to slow our very mediocre offense on a neutral field. And your Bama win looks much less impressive now.
And to be clear I’m not saying Texas should replace you. We have our own problems. But I think Vandy would have a better chance at making some noise in the CFP.

You literally beat them too badly. If you win that game by only 3 points, people would think oh Tennessee's still good. By whipping them you make everyone think they suck, so you dont get credit.
