Bama fans need to cheer for UVA I think. If Duke wins, the acc champ won’t be ranked high enough to get a spot. Both Tulane and JMU will be ranked ahead of them.
That will encourage the committee to rank Miami high enough too get a wild card so the ACC isn’t left out entirely.
If UVA is in then the playoff committee would likely take ND and Bama and leave Miami out.
