You can’t tell me TENN is more of a rival to Bama than LSU is

You’re new to the SEC, so I’ll excuse your ignorance. But as someone who’s followed SEC football since the 1970s, I assure you that Tennessee is far and away more of a rival to Alabama than LSU. In fact, only Auburn is a bigger rival to Alabama than Tennessee.

And if you polled LSU fans, I’d bet money more of them would consider Ole Miss as a rival than Alabama. The rivalry between those two runs deep and was around decades before Lane Kiffin was so much as a wet spot in his momma’s panties.

Are Alabama and LSU rivals? Sure. But it’s a recent rivalry, really since the mid-2000s. Hell, in the late-90s to early 2000s, most LSU fans would have considered Auburn a bigger rival than Alabama due to the ferocity and stakes involved in their games during that time.
