Miami will get one.

Who knows about the other one. UTa or Vandy .... I honestly hope Vandy.

BYU is saying 11-2 merits a spot. There only two losses were to Texas Tech.

Things are about to get interesting.

They will keep Bama in front of Miami. Bama will open at A@M.

ND is ahead of Miami in the rankings.

Neither played this weekend.

The committee has no reason to swap them at this juncture.

ND goes in before Miami.

If byu is out, Bama is out. You cant argue that Bama shouldn't get bounced for making it to the conference championship game while bouncing byu for the same exact thing. Take Miami and Notre Dame both and avoid that whole can of worms.

If it was between Texas and Vandy, it'd be Texas as the committee ranked us higher last week.

Correct. BYU is out. Bama should expect to be in over Notre Dame.

Cannot disagree with this logic.

Both. Either would beat this Bama team the way they have played lately...loss to an offensively challenged OK team at home, squeaker over Auburn, and non-competitive against GA. Bottomline...if championship games can move teams you up in the ratings, they should likewise drop you down. The committee must treat them as another data point, not as a sacred event with no negative consequences.

Depends...if VA wins, Bama will fall to #10 or #11. If Duke wins, Bama or ND falls out...Miami will definitely get in. Committee will ensure at least one ACC gets in, but not two...ACC is too weak.
