Ole Miss will hang the biggest banner you’ve ever seen for this.

Nah not a banner, but you can print cups and T-shirts.

Agree with this. It’s the modern version of making a NY6 bowl.

No.
Making the playoff isn’t banner-worthy.
Tho it’s 100% top-shelf scotch worthy.

But the lazy pile-on from rival fans is straight-up pathetic.
Top 15 is a damn fantastic season, yet somehow fandom’s become so brain-rotted that anything short of a natty run = failure.
That take is hot garbage.

Celebrate the hell out of a great year.
115+ teams wish they had it.
Life’s too short not to enjoy the ride.

Wonder if it becomes like NCAA basketball...a semifinal appearance might be a banner like a Final Four appearance in basketball?

Then that’s sad.

Not to get too into my feels, but I lost my daddy last year.
He’d be tickled to sit around the fire on the ranch this December and toast a one-loss Aggie team, regardless of how a panel of chuckleheads ultimately deems their season’s worth.

It’s not banner worthy but coaches use the shite out of it to brag on their programs.

No matter how a team does, making the CFP is an order of magnitude better than not making it.

Unless you’re North Texas or somebody like that, SEC/ Natty banners only.
