Does anyone know how much Damon Wilson is getting in NIL? Georgia is suing him for $390,000 for breaking the contract they agreed on. He was only paid $30,000 of the NIL deal. His deal was a 14 month contract worth $500,000.

This is the first lawsuit brought by an athletic department against a player.

We play at UGA next year. Maybe this lawsuit will motivate Wilson to stick around and dish out some punitive damages in Athens.

That’s a shitty and punitive contract.

Tell me you’re fine taking advantage of 19 year olds without telling me.

"Our pass rush sucked because we weren't using you as a wide 9 and you left and developed into an early round pick. You been served".

How does a NIL agent have him sign a contract with a punitive clause? He should be sued for inadequate representation.

Kid signs a $500k NIL deal. Gets $30k

Contract says if you transfer, you hurt us so badly, that you have to pay us $390k.

It's a straight up punitive clause for exercising a right given by the courts and governing body, the NCAA.

BTW, Mizzou paid the $30k back to UGA. The transfer school not only pays the kid a new NIL deal, they also pay the buyout in most cases.

That's crazy predatory by UGA. I'm all for enforcing an agreed upon contract but damn this is a bad look on them lol.

Hope Eli is savvy enough to use this against Jawgia for recruiting:

Talking to the media, Eli is top 10 in the nation. I would be severely disappointed if he doesn't say anything.

This is a retarded case by the Georgia Collective.

They were made whole monetarily. They continued to pursue other players in the portal. They signed the number one edge rusher in the portal. Did they pay Army for him? Of course not. Did they pay him NIL? Of course they did.

Hopefully, they lose a lot of legal fees chasing this idiotic case.

I picture UGA's lawyers in the courtroom on all fours, barking at the judge as he tells them to go frick themselves.
