Last year and this year were unprecedented.
Last year - no one fired
This year - everyone fired
Who is next (for next year) to get the axe?
(it's beamer isn't it?)

Add Heupel to the list.

Remember when he was talking shite to opposing players on national TV after a game this year?

Is Big Perm on a short leash at Ole Miss?

There's gonna be a lot of heads on the chopping block after Big Daddy Stein gets done running roughshod and rawdogging the SEC in his debut.

The non playoff teams who didn’t fire their coaches are Texas, vandy, UT, Mizzou, MSU, and South Carolina.
Of those, vandy and Mizzou signed extensions. UT made the playoffs last year and this year was always going to be a rebuild. I guess a losing record puts Heupel on the hot seat but I doubt it. Lebby was competitive in year 1. So anything better than 3-9 probably gets another year. Sark has 2 playoff appearances but the fan base is delusional. Anything worse than 8-4 could make him leave especially if A&M makes the playoffs again. Beamer is the obvious option here. Losing a good QB from a team that went from top 15 to unranked.
Of the playoff teams, only golding is at risk and I need to see his contract to know how committed ole miss is to him. Regardless, probably would have to lose the first round game and then go 6-6 or worse.

Kirby and all first year coaches are safe. Lea def bought himself another season with the past two seasons results. Think elko huepel sark and deboer have enough goodwill to survive barring an absolute meltdown(4 wins or worse). Beamer? lebby? Could possibly be on hot seat. But I even think a bowl buys them a year. I think there’s definitely going to be a new head coach in the sec(nil portal fatigue, better job offer, or nfl) but not sure anyone gets the ax.

Well let’s see.
Safe
Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU - All hiring new coaches, probably safe year 1. It is the SEC so nothing is truly safe. Georgia, A&M, Vandy
Wtf knows
Alabama - we could lose our shite in a Penn State fashion and no one would be surprised
Ole Miss - He’s basically an extended interim, so mediocre or poor year he’s gone. He could do well and if not it’s at least possible (quit laughing) he would get another year.
Texas - Sark wants to go back to the NFL supposedly, wtf knows
SHOULD be safe
Oklahoma, Mizzou, State
Seat is getting warm
The stinking Vols
He gone
South Carolina

I would think Beamer gets fired if they don’t have a great year. If Lebby rolls another 5 win or less season he will be gone
Maybe Heupel if he doesn’t make the playoffs
