If tweet fails to load, click here. But Ohio State and Indiana and Oregon and Tech are all seeded higher than all but one SEC team.

Texas Tech isn't in the Big 10.
And Ohio State managed to avoid both Indiana and Oregon during their regular season, so he's not wrong. OSU's best opponent is the SEC's # 5 team this year.

I respect that he is keeping it real and being honest.

It's not as many as 5 hard games
I'm surprised he admitted it
Someone will make him walk that back.

Not a scientific metric, but just by using ESPN's Power Index:
Average SEC team ranking: 23
Median SEC team ranking: 19.5
Average SEC team ranking for bottom half of conference: 34
Lowest SEC team ranking: 49 (Mississippi State)
Average B1G team ranking: 40
Median B1G team ranking: 38
Average B1G team ranking for bottom half of conference: 65
Lowest B1G team ranking: 86 (Purdue)
B1G teams below SEC's lowest ranking team: 8

Then he went on mention the SEC losing to the Big 10 in bowl games last year... seemed like a very political answer.

I think it's just the truth. The top few programs in the B1G are every bit as good as the best of the SEC. Especially Ohio State. But the middle and bottom tiers of the SEC are so much stronger across the board than the B1G.

With opt outs etc… bowls don’t really tell us as much as they did years ago
